Aftenposten is Norway's leading broadsheet newspaper, based in Oslo but with a subscription reach that spans the nation. The morning edition, generally considered the country's "paper of record," is read by some 811,000 every weekday. Its evening editionfocuses on news and events in and around the capital of Oslo, with average daily readership of more than 500,000.
Aftenposten employs an editorial staff of more than 400 persons, of whom more than 300 are journalists and photographers. Aftenposten also maintains a network of foreign correspondents in several major cities including Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong, London, Moscow, Stockholm and Washington.

and sports stories. Aftenposten is the only major newspaper in Norway offering
this service. The English news service is also sent to large screens at Oslo's
airport at Gardermoen.
