Hunt ends in victory for wolves

It appeared the wolf hunt in Rendalen, east Norway, would end on Monday with a zero result for the hunters. Licence to kill four wolves was granted two weeks ago, but the animals have remained elusive.

Hunting permission was to expire at noon onMonday reports state broadcaster NRK, but hunters effectively threw in the towel on Sunday night following a fruitless weekend without a single sighting.
